The Frederick Douglass International Academy calendar brings together the full rhythm of the school year, from opening day ceremonies to end-of-year celebrations. Families can look forward to a schedule that balances rigorous academics with meaningful community events, seasonal performances, and opportunities for parent engagement throughout the term. The calendar is designed with clarity in mind, ensuring that every stakeholder from students to guardians can stay informed about important dates, assessment windows, and school-wide initiatives. By keeping the community aligned on what lies ahead, the academy fosters a sense of shared purpose and anticipation that carries through every month of instruction and growth.

In addition to core classroom learning, the calendar highlights a variety of enrichment activities that reflect the school's character-centered mission. Spirit weeks, cultural observances, service projects, and athletic events are woven into the academic year to provide students with a well-rounded experience that extends beyond the walls of the classroom. Faculty and staff coordinate these milestones collaboratively, drawing on the strengths of the entire school community to ensure each event is purposeful and memorable. Whether families are new to the academy or returning for another year, the calendar serves as a trusted guide to the many ways students can learn, lead, and belong.
